Dawn at Mesa Arch, found within Canyonlands National Park, creates a unique event. Mesa arch hangs over the wall of a cliff several hundred feet high. As the morning sun casts its warm light on the canyon walls, the light reflects up and onto the bottom of the arch. The glow created by the light and rock is breathtaking. Off in the distance, the Washer-woman arch is also shown rising above the canyon floor far below.
