Hidden in the labyrinth of streets of Penang Malaysia is the Khoo Khongsi clanhouse. One of the chinese clanhouse's features is a pair of statues like this one. Within its mouth is a solid ball of granite that is impossible to remove. The ball was carved in place within the mouth of the statue and is physically larger than the opening of the mouth. It was carved in place and my guide indicated I would be very lucky if I could get the ball out.
