Snow in the desert is an usual site, but even more unusual is a scene such as this, where the cactus seemingly have been blasted with snow. Everything in the desert was covered with several inches of snow, and most plants were only capped with snow, unlike these saguaros that were high up on a mountain ridge, exposed to the winds that came with the storm.
