Snowy Four Peaks
The Four Peaks mountains northeast of Phoenix are typically the only mountains high enough to get snow in the winter, and then the snow is usually sparsely covering the very top of the mountains and lasts a couple of days. This time, the snow levels dropped down to about 2000 feet, covering the hills surrounding the peaks. The dark clouds hanging over the mountains seem to focus the light of the setting sun on this unusal snowy desert scene.
